The First Trailer & Images for ‘The Conjuring 2’ Have Come to Haunt Us All

The first The Conjuring movie was a horrific surprise, and was actually one of the few mainstream horror movies to keep my interest going in the declining genre today. Director James Wan, actor Patrick Wilson and actress Vera Farmiga are all back for the sequel which, as a fan of the first film, is enough for me to get excited.

Wan is a very cautious director when it comes to his horror films getting spoiled from the trailers. Its something I considered after not being very impressed with this first trailer. There are certainly some moments that had me jumping outta my seat, and seeing Wilson and Farmiga back as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren was great. However, I feel like expectation for me were high after really enjoying the first film. All other things being equal, I have major faith in James Wan, who knows how to do horror right. Count me in for this one.

The supernatural thriller brings to the screen another real case from the files of renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. Reprising their roles, Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits. The Conjuring 2 in theaters June 10, 2016.
