I must say, November was a little more underwhelming than what I was hoping. Don’t get me wrong, it featured some monster names such as Spectre and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and even though they were good films, they were nowhere near what we were all hoping for.
Luckily for November, smaller films such as Spotlight, Brooklyn, Trumbo and Carol made up for those; unfortunately for me, I live in a place that gets smaller films much later on, if that, so Trumbo is the only one I’ve been able to catch up to this point. On top of that, the back half of the month let loose one of the year’s best over films in Creed, which definitely makes up some ground in the race for the best over month.
But that’s not what we’re talking about just yet, instead I want to know which November title stands above the rest. Was it Spectre and Mockingjay – Part 2? One of the smaller films I named above? Or maybe a Thanksgiving flick like Creed or The Good Dinosaur?
