‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Analysis: Breakdown the New Trailer with 50 New Images

Early last week, all Star Wars fans were given a piece of absolute bliss, as the third and final trailer for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released. By now, I’m sure you’ve seen it a number of times (couple dozen if you’re like me). No matter what kind of emotion(s) the trailer brought to the surface, there’s no doubt it had you coming back multiple times. And to help you with trying to see every single detail throughout the glorious reel, we’ve compiled the fifty best images from said trailer.

Thank you to Collider for providing the images themselves, and for being one of the most professional movie sites out there. These images – which are definitely in their best form – slow down and let us breakdown every shot we were able to lock our eyes on last Monday night (and every night since). Without having to not look away because of the quickness or dialogue the trailer features, these images easily back up why the trailer was so f**king good. They’re unbelievable, they really are, giving us much better looks at our new heroes, new villains, and the incredible landscape/cinematography that The Force Awakens will no doubt feature in a big way. Bask in all the glory below!

Just pure beauty, right? I’m not afraid to say it, it’s most likely the greatest trailer I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying that just because it’s Star Wars or because of how big of a role Star Wars has played in my life, I’m saying that because I’ve never felt the kind of emotions through a trailer like I did while watching this final trailer for The Force Awakens. Happy, sad, cheers, tears, chills, excitement, and everything else. It touched on all the emotions a true return to Star Wars should, which makes me believe (without uncertainty) that it’s exactly like, a true return to Star Wars.

Also, I can’t go without mentioning two complete analyses from two of the best movie websites today. One I mentioned above, and I can’t recommend heading over to Collider enough for everything in film, but specifically for their Everything You Might Have Missed as they break-down the best and most important parts of the trailer. Just as equally, /Film also did their own complete analysis of the newly released trailer, as they raise just as many great arguments about the possibility of what could happen in The Force Awakens. As for both sites, I visit both regularly, especially when it comes to all things Star Wars. And other than us here at Apocaflix! Movies, I highly recommend you bookmarking both.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens lands in theaters on December 18th, 2015. Directed by J.J. Abrams starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow.
