New Images Released for ‘The Revenant’ (Slideshow)

Some very telling new images for the upcoming film The Revenant have released online. Courtesy of  the film’s production designer Jack Fisk, who also provided some commentary for a couple photos so that we may have a better idea of what the filmmakers are going for.

There’s a lot of authenticity in these photos when considering the story, the setting, and time. The standout for me is the extra attention given on the costume designs, and the details of the makeup for both Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio. I also have to mention the stills that showoff the cinematography in this film. Its very eye-catching.

Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption. THE REVENANT is directed and co-written by renowned filmmaker, Academy Award® winner Alejandro G.
