Hotel Transylvania may not be the most beloved animated movie of all-time, but it definitely created great a following. The adventurous and emotional touch it was able to bring to such monster creatures such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and more was pretty fun.

Now although it really isn’t a necessity, Sony has followed through with a sequel. Rightfully titled Hotel Transylvania 2, the sequel takes the next step as humans and monsters are now living in the world together. Am I looking forward to watching this as much as I would a Toy Story or How to Train Your Dragon? No, I can’t say that I am. But I’m still interested in seeing how this clever story is continued. It’s only slightly teased in the trailers so far, but these monsters are now living out in the open alongside humans, which makes for a pretty interesting spin on things.
