A New Trailer for ‘Creed’ Has Been Released… & It’s Absolutely Exhilarating

If you haven’t heard by now, a Rocky spin-off is coming and coming fast. From the title alone, you’ll know exactly what it’s about and that it is the perfect franchise spin-off. Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone & Michael B. Jordan in 'Creed'starred in the debut trailer which was released a while back, a trailer that was so damn good that is got everyone’s blood pumping with excitement. But I’m here to tell you that that trailer was just the beginning… See what I’m talking about below as the brand new Creed trailer has hit!

As many first trailers do, the first Creed was a perfect introduction into what this spin-off is all about – Apollo’s son. Yeah, it may very well be a Rocky spin-off, but Rocky himself took a back seat to the Adonis Creed character, played by Michael B. Jordan. To me, that’s the best thing this film has going for it. If it’s able to make this Adonis Creed’s story and movie and not try to cash in on the Rocky nostalgia, then it could very well become a huge contender in the ring of next year’s award season.

As for this trailer, what a fantastic next step it’s taken. Going from introduction into now giving us story points and teasing much more, it’s definitely the stronger of the two trailers in my mind. Not just that, but it showcases the chemistry going on between Michael B. Jordan and Sly Stallone, something that will be a vital part of the film.

Creed steps into theaters on November 25th, 2015. Directed by Ryan Coogler starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, and Phylicia Rashad.
