The First Pair of ‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ Clips Tease What’s Coming

Following the finish to The Maze Runner, we were just starting to learn what these movies are all about. It hinted at what’s to come and through trailers and images for its sequel, The Scorch Trials, so far we’ve only been teased at what the Gladers are really about to experience and the kind of truths their about to uncover.

Now these first pair of clips for the movie don’t exactly reveal anything major, which is a good thing, but they do once again tease that big things are coming for these characters. If you’re worried about any kind of spoilers, don’t worry, the clips don’t give any real story points away – so go ahead and give both of them a look below:

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked The Maze Runner. I thought it was a really good and refreshing young adult book to movie adaptations following all the YA failures over the last so many years. It kept me interested and left me wanting more, which is exactly what the first movie of a planned franchise is suppose to do. As for everything on The Scorch Trials shown so far, I’m really buying in on it. Not only do I think Dylan O’Brien is a future star, but the story looks to be going in the right direction which gets me really excited. It takes the scope and size a step further and that’s what a sequel is all about.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials opens September 18th, 2015. Directed by Wes Ball starring Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Nathalie Emmanuel, Rosa Salazar Katherine McNamara, Aidan Gillen, Giancarlo Esposito, Lili Taylor, Barry Pepper, and Patricia Clarkson.
