In Theaters This Week (8/20/15): ‘Sinister 2’, ‘Hitman: Agent 47’ and ‘American Ultra’

It gets hard being a movie fan this time of year as there are so many movies coming out that catch my interest. This week I might be hitting the theaters at least three times with the horror sequel Sinister 2, the video game adaptation Hitman: Agent 47 and the action-comedy American Ultra starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristin Stewart all releasing this week. Check out the synopsis’ and trailers below to decide what you’ll be seeing this weekend.

First Up:

Sinister 2 starring James Ransone and Courtney Collins, directed by  Ciarán Foy. 

Synopsis (IMDB):

A young mother and her twin sons move into a rural house that’s marked for death.

Next Up:

Hitman: Agent 47 starring Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware and Zachary Quinto, directed by Aleksander Back.

Synopsis (IMDB):

An assassin teams up with a woman to help her find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry.

Last Up:

American Ultra starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristin Stewart, directed by Nima Nourizadeh.

Synopsis (IMDB):

A stoner – who is in fact a government agent – is marked as a liability and targeted for extermination. But he’s too well-trained and too high for them to handle.

Well there you go! All you need to know about the major releases this week. Also in theaters still is Straight Outta Compton, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Fantastic Four, Ricki and The Flash, The Gift, Shaun the Sheep Movie, Vacation, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, Southpaw, Ant-Man, Trainwreck, Minions and many others. Let us know what you’re going to see or if you’ve seen the latest releases!
