The First Clip for ‘Fantastic Four’ Is More Science than Science Fiction

As Fantastic Four has drawn closer and closer, it has become much more of the thing to talk about, which isn’t new for this superhero reboot. For the longest time it feels like this movie has been under the spotlight, no matter if it’s a good or bad light. Now I for one am looking forward to seeing what Josh Trank and team have put together and if they can wash away that bad taste from the original movies. And although there has been a ton of controversy around it, most of the footage war fat that I’ve seen have given me some pretty positive thoughts on it.

Now other than the trailers, I’ve really tried to stay away from any other kind of footage that’s released because I just don’t want anything ruined. That stays the same for this first clip that’s been released and from the title, it looks like this scene is the teleportation scene that takes the characters to the site of the source of their powers. Check it out:

Am I correct? It doesn’t really sound like anything in the spoiler territory as I’m sure this scene takes place somewhere in the first act of the movie. Even so, I want to save as many moments for the theater experience as I can. And hopefully it ends up as good as it looks and can be. At least better than the disaster of the originals, that’s all I ask…

Fantastic Four hits theaters August 7th, 2015. Directed by Josh Trank starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey, and Tim Blake Nelson.
