Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is coming and coming fast. Through trailers, posters, and more, we’ve seen exactly what we’ve wanted to from the latest Tom Cruise action flick in the franchise, straight awesomeness. It’s hard to think that that a movie and its action/stunts can top what its predecessor Ghost Protocol did, but it clearly is showing that it can and probably will.
Don’t believe me? Just check out these newly released TV spots and featurette that’s focused on it’s highly insane practical stunt sequences.
As for these new featurettes, both show some great stuff. The first is going to be pretty shocking to many, as it shows that Tom Cruise did actually attach himself to the side of a cargo plane for that crazy shot in the trailers… I think it’s safe to say that he’s topped that sequence from Ghost Protocol that has him hanging off the side of the tallest building in the world.
And for the second, it’s pretty cool, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the sweet motorcycle stunts that they were able to do. As a film fan, it really resonates with me when I see a movie taking chances and trying to give us a real life experience, it makes it that much better.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation hits theaters July 31st, 2015. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, and Alec Baldwin.
