No matter what you’ve heard about it over the past year, you’ve more than likely been pretty damn surprised and impressed with the footage released for Fox and Josh Trank’s superhero reboot Fantastic Four. Not only does it carry a completely different look and tone, but it features names that gives it a chance to be twice of what the original movies were.

Now only time will tell if this will in fact be the Fantastic Four movie we’ve always wanted and been promised, but everything leading up to this point has me believing that it could very well be. And that’s not just from trailer footage, I also really love what I’m hearing from the stars of the movie. Director Josh Trank hasn’t said much because of certain…backlash, but the young (incredibly talented) stars who are taking up these characters seem very proud and excited about these characters, this movie, and what it all could mean for a Fantastic Four franchise.

Now hopefully this weekend at SDCC, we should see a bunch more on the film and maybe even what the future plans are for it. But for now, check out this pretty cool power-focused new poster (on the right) and character profiles that center on Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing).
