The Official ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ Poster Is Pretty Serious… & Awesome!

There’s no doubt, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is one of the biggest movies to hit this summer. When it jumped from its normal December release (because of Star Wars) to July, it only upped the ante and put some major pressure on other summer movies because of how legit this franchise has become.

'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' PosterWith a few trailers down and just a month out, look to see the marketing ramped up a bit here pretty soon, starting with this new poster. More than likely this poster will end up as the final poster and it’s well deserved, I really like it. Yeah, it has the floating head/body thing going on a little bit and everyone looks dead serious, but how can you not get excited when you see this poster?

First of all, the cast is great, just look at the talent. And second, just as the poster for Ghost Protocol highlighted the films best action sequence, this one looks to feature one of if not its best action sequence with that completely badass looking motorcycle chase scene that’s been teased in the trailers. Just as posters should, it gets me that much more excited to see Rogue Nation.

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF. Ethan Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) has been disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation hits theaters July 31st, 2015. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, and Alec Baldwin.
