Drac’s Pack Tries to Save the Day in the New ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’ Trailer

Hotel Transylvania may have not been the greatest animated feature of all time, but it was actually quite a bit of fun. Full of all kind of creatures, we got to see a new take on the monster world. Now the sequel takes it a step further and instead of saving his family, Drac and his pack must now adventure out and try to save the future of their world. Check out the brand new trailer for Hotel Transylvania 2 below.

First off, here’s the official synopsis:

The Drac pack is back for an all-new monster comedy adventure in Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 2! Everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania… Dracula’s rigid monster-only hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn’t showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny – and in for a major cultural shock of her own – “Vampa” Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a “monster-in-training” boot camp. But little do they know that Drac’s grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood – and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania – things are going to get batty!

I actually really enjoyed this trailer. Like I said above, the first movie was quite a bit of fun and am excited to jumping back into this world with all these characters. It won’t be the greatest animated movie ever, but am looking forward to having some fun with it.

Hotel Transylvania 2 hits theaters September 25th, 2015. Starring the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Kevin James, Keegan-Michael Kelly, and Mel Brooks.
