The New Teaser Poster for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Cuts off the Head of the Capitol

The Mockingjay pin has never look any different. Through The Hunger Games franchise so far we’ve seen its logo be a symbol of hope, but it now becomes a symbol of revolution. A new teaser poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 has just been released and it leaves no doubt that the Capitol and its leader will be facing the wrath of a resistance who’s ready to fight back.

The poster was released on its official Twitter page with some very strong words:

Continuing the propaganda style started with Mockingjay – Part 1Part 2 is taking it to a whole new level. Following those final moments of Part 1, it’s easy to guess what’s coming in the final movie of the franchise (especially for those who’ve read the books). And while this poster does tease all out war, it also pretty much guarantees what fate may be waiting for President Snow.

Here’s the official Mockingjay – Part 2 synopsis:

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters on November 20th, 2015. Directed by Francis Lawrence starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Natalie Dormer, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.
