Batman V Superman may be coming out next year, but whatever you do do not overlook DC’s other DCCU movie of 2016, Suicide Squad. Yeah it doesn’t include any major characters movie-goers know and is a very unknown property compared to others, but it should be looked forward to just as much as any other comic book movie released. For one, it’s the first attempt at a movie without any real protagonist, consisting of all super-villains. And second, that unbelievable cast.

It’s still more than a year away so don’t expect a trailer or anything like that until at least SDCC this summer, but that doesn’t stop set images from popping up. Below you can check out a load of images from the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad movie. They feature some serious juicy looks at all the characters, including Jared Leto’s full Joker look!

First, I’ll put Leto’s Joker images all in a gallery all by their lonesome, because well, they are the one thing everyone wants to see.

How awesome does he look? Yeah, he’s creepy and looking pretty damn terrifying, but he’s Joker! He’s suppose to look like that! This is no where near a knock towards Heath Ledger’s Joker, but I believe that Leto is going to bring a little something extra that very few people can bring to this kind of character. He’s going to be able to tap into something completely different from anything we’ve seen before, and I for one cannot freaking wait to see it.

As for the scene, I can go into some major detail but I don’t really want to give anything away to anyone who doesn’t want to know. So I’ll let you readers speculate all you want about what’s going down.

They all look solid. I’m very excited to see Will Smith in this kind of role and with these kind of characters surrounding him. Margot Robbie as Harley, what can I say? She looks killer and shockingly sexy. And I really like seeing Ayer going with the more practical side for Killer Croc, now let’s just hope it doesn’t end up like Michael Chiklis’ The Thing from the original Fantastic Four movies.
