After last year’s John Wick, I’m thinking Keanu Reeves is back. Not only did that movie kick total ass, Reeves himself did as well, basically putting himself back in the light again. Then there’s Eli Roth, who’s been a straight mastermind of the horror and thriller genre for years now. Now the two have come together on Roth’s next thriller Knock Knock, which just got a full trailer.
Knock Knock follows Reeves’ character as good family man trying to do the right thing. But that right thing turns into every man’s fantasy and finishes as a horrific nightmare. Here’s a synopsis:
Two young girls show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man where they seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life.
Love it. Frankly, I’m into any of Eli Roth’s twisted stories, but this one definitely stands out because it’s a bit different than his usual stuff. It has its horror elements for sure, but I dig the more thriller style to it. Plus it’s a story that’s playing off of a fantasy that almost every man in the world has thought of, but with that Roth twist of course. So yeah, I’m one hundred percent in on Knock Knock. It looks pretty fun, entertaining, and terrifying all at the same time.
Knock Knock currently doesn’t have a U.S. release date. Directed by Eli Roth starring Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, and Ana de Armas.
