Earlier this week I posted a huge gallery of images from the set of what seems like Marvel’s next Avengers movie, Captain America: Civil War. Those images mainly focused on Chris Evans’ Captain America, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Anthony Mackie’s Falcon, and Frank Grillo’s villain Crossbones. Now more images have hit the web and this time they feature other major players that will take place in this hero vs. hero conflict.
It’s been circling for a few days now that the set these images take place in the beginning of the film where the New Avengers and Crossbones are going at it, which is ends up being the “international incident” that “results in collateral damage” from the synopsis (which leads to hero vs. hero). And apparently Crossbones is on the trail of the Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes as he wants to reset him to his scary ass assassin mode. Nothing has become official and probably won’t, but it raises some very interesting theories and questions. Like: does Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man become a New Avenger following his solo movie this summer?
Thanks to Just Jared, check out Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, and Paul Rudd joining in on the fun of filming Civil War:
I don’t really want to look at all these images that keep popping up because I want to know as little as possible about it going in, but I just can’t freaking help it. These images get me so damn excited. I’m always excited for any Marvel movie because of what they’ve done and continue to do, but I never imagined I would see the Civil War storyline adapted to the big screen. It being one of my personal favorite storylines, it only raises my anticipation and excitement. May 2016 needs to be here asap.
