There’s plenty of talk about the most recent Terminator Genisys trailer potentially spoiling the entire movie in regards to the John Connor character. Honestly (and this is me just being me), I think there’s more to the story than what we know, or may already know. Because I’m looking at this franchise, and how much is riding on this movie to renew fans interest. The last two Terminator films (Terminator 3, Terminator Salvation) were not so good, and I think the studio knows that.

New character posters have released for Terminator Genisys, which more or less confirm the villains in the movie. Check them out along with a brief description below each one.

T-800 Model. Skin ages while exoskeleton remains the same. 

When Kyle Reese is sent back, he learns that Sarah Connor has been living and training with the T-800 (Arnold) for years. She’s now the perfect female warrior.

Kyle Reese is sent back in time by John Connor to save John’s mother. (Similar plot line to the first film)

T-1000 has the exact same abilities as the one in Terminator 2. (Only difference is Robert Patrick’s character is now Asian) 

While Kyle Reese was sent back in time, something else happened to John soon after in the future. Spoiler? Perhaps.

Terminator Genisys opens on July 1st.
