Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron has officially been released and is dominating the box office, it’s time to movie forward to some of May’s other really highly anticipated projects. Two of those being Mad Max: Fury Road and Tomorrowland. Two movies that couldn’t be anymore different from each other, but couldn’t be looked forward to anymore than they are. One returning to the magnificent world of old and one trying to create one just as big and fascinating. With their release dates nearing each day, here are a load of new images for both to build that excitement even more.
I’m just as excited for both of these as most people are. As for the new images, I love seeing the completely different look and style when put next to each other. If you haven’t seen the original Mad Max movies, you should be excited to see all the chaos and madness that takes place. The images are unlike anything I’ve seen in a while, a singular style that can only belong to George Miller and his post-apocalyptic wasteland.
As for Tomorrowland, director Brad Bird has shown in his previous films that he’s very good when it comes to characters and spectacle. The movie no doubt promises to be a beauty to look at, but these new images remind us of the deep characters we’ll be joining on this journey. I’m very excited to see what Brad Bird has done this time around, especially with a concept like Tomorrowland.
Mad Mad: Fury Road hits theaters on May 15th, 2015. Tomorrowland opens May 22nd, 2015.
