When the teaser trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was leaked then released a few weeks back, we got our first glimpse at the heavy armored suit Batman will be using to take on Superman. But now we get a much better look at it thanks to some newly released promo art for Warner Bros. hugely anticipated superhero movie.
Along with great looks at the armored suit and the normal Batsuit, there’s some good Superman pieces showing off his new digs, and a few really cool ‘old school boxing’ style posters.
It’s just promo art, but it’s some pretty snazzy stuff. Both Batman suits and the slightly different Superman suit are on point. Personally, I think this Batman suit is the best we’ve ever seen for live-action – it’s just Batman unlike any of the others. As for Supes, I really dug the darker meshy suit he wore in Man of Steel. The Batman V Superman suit has just a little different details with what looks like a color upgrade, being just a tad bit brighter. I just hope they don’t go full classic colors in the future, the darker suit fits this Superman very well.
Dawn of Justice is still basically a full year away and although we’ve already seen a teaser trailer and a number of new images featuring both Batman and Superman, don’t expect this to be a regular thing. For Warner Bros. to start pushing Batman V Superman now would kind of be a mistake in my opinion. Starting now would mean nearly ten months of marketing, and who knows what kind or how much stuff would be shown in that time period. I know for myself, I want to see as little as possible before its release. Hell, I’d be happy not seeing a single thing.
With that said, be on the lookout for more of Dawn of Justice in the coming months, especially when June and July comes rolling around. What do you think of the new promo art?
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has a March 25th, 2016 release date. Directed by Zack Snyder starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Scoot McNairy, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, and Jeremy Irons.
