Some of this year’s biggest films like Star Wars, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man have released new trailers that have increased fan’s excitement in anticipation for its release. But there’s also another (comic book) film being overlooked in 20th Century Fox’s reboot of Fantastic Four.
There’s been an increase in optimism among film fans on the web, and that’s because of the careful marketing the studio has done with this film. While a second trailer has in fact released, it was initially leaked online earlier which has sort of become the norm these days.
This is a better trailer in terms of plot details and action. What I took from this trailer was that we can expect to see a great chemistry between the cast, specifically Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm), Kate Mara (Sue Storm), Miles Teller (Reed Richards), and Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm). We also got our first look at Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev (Doom), who has proven to me that he can be a great villain while providing a character w/ depth (Dawn of Apes).
I’m all on board for this film and I think it looks great.
Fantastic Four also stars Tim Blake Nelson, and Reg E. Cathey, and opens in theaters on August 7th.
