Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming and coming fast! It’s now just a little bit over two weeks away, which is such great news. Marvel has been on a roar lately, promoting their ‘greatest superhero movie of all-time’ follow-up. Even though this movie needs no promoting at all, we’ve seen loads of clips, featurettes, images, and TV spots released over the past week or two, all digging even deeper into this gigantic movie.
Now Marvel has released even more, this time being official images. These brand new images give all kind of looks into some of Age of Ultron‘s most anticipated scenes and many of its characters. On a little side not, it’s really cool to see Marvel spreading the love between all of these characters.
See all the great shots below:
All of these images are just fantastic, they really are, but a few definitely stand out. First is the first image, which shows Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson joining in on the fun at Avengers Tower. Sam Wilson aka Falcon was one of my favorite parts of The Winter Soldier so I definitely love seeing him at least just cameo in Age of Ultron. Now the question becomes, is it just a cameo or will we see Falcon take flight alongside the Avengers against Ultron?
Next are the two images of the Avengers together back to back, specifically looking at Iron Man. Look at that upgrade! The new armor we’ve seen throughout the trailers and footage is a really cool looking suit, but that second suit is bad-freaking-ass! My guess is the first shot is somewhere in the beginning or middle of the movie, then Tony Stark doing some serious work to better his armor for that final battle with Ultron. Theory though, that metal hand coming out of the lava-like stuff we’ve seen through the trailers, cold that in fact be Iron Man’s instead of Ultron’s? What if Ultron discovered vibranium at some point in the movie and Stark used it to his advantage to upgrade his suit even more? Just something to look out for…
Lastly, I couldn’t just leave out that epic shot of Hulkbuster and Hulk duking it out. What a perfect shot, oh man. We’ve known the fight is coming and it’s definitely one of the big things fans and audiences are looking forward to, but this image of Hulkbuster and Hulk trading blows, SO EPIC. This fight has been so hugely teased throughout marketing, now all I can hope for is that it lives up to it.
