The last few days have seen a ton of news revolving around DC’s gigantic superhero movie Batman V Superman, of when it’s coming or not coming. But it seems like we not have official word as director Zack Snyder has taken to his Twitter page, as he always does, to post a 20-second teaser trailer for the full-length trailer that lands this coming Monday!
The trailer doesn’t show anybody or much of anything, but it’s just put together so damn well. What can you do with twenty seconds? A short teaser that shows nothing but the awesome suits that the titular heroes will wear, check it out!
With all the news revolving around the movie over the past few days and with rumor that a teaser would be released tomorrow morning, pretty smart of Mr. Snyder to release this teaser now and get ahead of them game. As for the teaser, it’s such a perfect tease and lead into the full-length trailer that drops on Monday. Those iconic suits in their mantles where the heroes keep them. It sets the stage (like it already needed setting…) for the trailer and movie next yea, it gives me complete chills!
Here’s a few screenshots:
This trailer has been rumored for a handful of movies over the last two months, which is surprising since the movie is still pretty far out. But with this big of a movie, it makes sense to do it now. It’s been expected that the trailer would be attached to Mad Max: Fury Road in May, and with that still being the case, it looks like it could also be attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron in just a few weeks. Monday is seeing the trailer released in select IMAX theaters across the country, almost like what Star Wars: The Force Awakens did but just in IMAX. It’s a good guess that it will be released online at the same time or a short time afterward, but if not, expect to see it in just two weeks in your viewing of Age of Ultron!
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has a March 25th, 2016 release date. Directed by Zack Snyder starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Scoot McNairy, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons.
