If you’re looking forward to DC’s super villain team-up Suicide Squad and you have a Twitter, it’s a must that you follow director David Ayer. He loves pleasing and surprising fans by dropping teasers and images, with his latest being the highlight of the bunch. Ayer took to his Twitter last night to post an image of the cast during their read through, check it out!

Alongside director David Ayer you can see Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, and a few others in the new image. The image includes new names like Adam Beach, Ike Barinholtz, and Jim Parrack, which we may now know which characters they are playing.

The big name absent is Jared Leto, who’s the new Joker. But it does come with no surprise as I’m sure by this time, Leto is fully transformed with green hair and hall. Leto’s been teasing on his Twitter and Instagram of the transformation recently, so keeping him back for a much bigger reveal makes sense.

If you don’t already know, here are the characters they are playing. Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as (Captain) Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc.

As for the new members, a new report is stating that Adam Beach (third from the right) could possibly be Ravan, Ike Barinholtz (far right) will be playing Hugo Strange, and Jim Parrack (in the hat) is Deathstroke with Joe Manganiello officially out.

Yeah, it’s just a cast phot during a reading, but just look at the cast. What a solid, solid cast for a very interesting movie. Suicide Squad is a type of movie that can either not really work, or really, really work. I personally think it’ll kick total ass, it’s such a cool concept, and even an odd way to go given the other movies DC has marked down for the cinematic universe. But with David Ayer leading the way with this kind of cast, Suicide Squad could end up being one of DC and Warner Bros.’ smartest moves.
