It’s been a long, long time waiting, but Deadpool is officially coming! When it was announced that we’d be finally getting an official Deadpool movie, we were just happy about that. But then came the release date announcement and it was set for 2016! Which made a pretty quick turnaround time, which is just better for us fans! Back in February, on the one year away mark, Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds teased us with an image of the official suit. Well now, we have the first look at the official suit! In a very Deadpool way…

Ryan Reynolds took to his Twitter page to release the image, having complete fun with it. Let’s just get right to it, check out the awesome image and the even more awesome caption from Reynolds!

How freaking great right?! It’s what we all hoped the suit would be! After that disaster of a Deadpool move for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it looks like redemption is coming for the merc with a mouth! Now that we know how damn good it looks and true the suit is to the comics, it’s only another big step towards the Deadpool we’ve always wanted to see on screen! It’s so damn exciting that there’s an image of Deadpool for a Deadpool movie.

This is a real passion project for Ryan Reynolds, trying to get the project going for years. Now that it is, I only expect to get the best. From everything we’ve heard and seen, it looks like we’ll be getting the Deadpool we always wanted, which is just awesome!

Oh and the image? How can you not love it? Just look at it! It’s so damn creative, but for those of you who don’t know the character, it’s such a Deadpool way. Reynolds and crew aren’t just taking it serious for the fans, but having complete fun with it, which is a great sign. Reynolds also tweeted this out following the image: “@VancityReynolds: No bears were harmed in the making of this photo. Though many bears likely turned on.”
