First Official Teaser Trailer & Poster for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Released!

The monster known as The Hunger Games franchise has become bigger than anyone expected. Coming from a young adult book franchise, we knew it had the ability to be really good, but never this good. From the stacked cast line-up to the incredibly directorial vision and story-telling, the franchise is one of the best ever. Unfortunately for fans, it comes to an end this fall with Mockingjay – Part 2. It’s now just eight months away, and here’s a little tease to get you excited for what’s to come.

The first official teaser trailer and teaser poster have both been released this week. That could very well hint that we could be getting the first official trailer here pretty soon, maybe even tomorrow. But if not, then most likely some time next week.

Official synopsis:

After being symbolized as the “Mockingjay”, Katniss Everdeen and District 13 engage in an all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol.

Just like the Mockingjay herself, the mockingjay symbol has really transformed, as you can see above. Each movies symbol is specifically shifted for what that story will tell. With the symbol for Mockingjay – Part 2, if you can’t tell, something is coming and in a big way.

Here’s the official teaser poster:
