Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver Get Their Own ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Character Posters!

There’s no doubt that some of the major draws to The Avengers sequel other than the team assembling again, are the new characters being introduced. Instead of just one character like past movies, Age of Ultron has at least three that can end up playing major roles in the MCU down the road. Two of those are the twins, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver who will for sure brings some different… things to the MCU from what we’re used to. Check out these two new character posters featuring the twins.

Elizabeth Olsen takes the character of Wanda Maximoff, who becomes the Scarlet Witch. With Aaron Taylor-Johnson running the role of Pietro Maximoff, who becomes Quicksilver. In the new posters below, Scarlet Witch looks very content flaunting her newly ‘given’ reality warping powers, while her brother Quicksilver sets his sight on filling his need for speed.

I’m pretty damn excited to see these characters join the ranks. It’s safe to say that the brother-sister duo known as ‘The Twins’ are in the highly, highly anticipated sequel to shake some things up. After seeing the latest trailer for Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver seem to brought into this world and working with big baddie, Ultron. And from the footage we’ve seen and along with Ultron, it looks like the twins are going to wreck some major havoc on our favorite heroes before ultimately joining the team.

Now the question becomes how long the twins will be on Ultron’s side and just how much destruction they will cause to the Avengers before flip-flopping? I know of at least two things, it’s going to make for some damn good stuff on screen, but while also being a pretty dark fight this time around.

Avengers: Age of Ultron lands on May 1st, 2015. Directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, Haley Atwell, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgard, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson.
