New ‘Spectre’ Images Give Us Our First Look at Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux & Monica Bellucci; On Set Video with Director Sam Mendes Released

The last James Bond movie took the franchise to an entire new level, while also cementing Daniel Craig as one of the best to step into Bond’s shoes, possibly the best ever. So how do you top that? You get the same director back to outdo himself with a leading man who was born to play the role, while also bringing in an outstanding supporting cast for a story that goes back to the roots of James Bond. Are you excited yet?

The movie just started filming a few weeks back and has been steadily picking up movement on releases some goodies for us fans. After seeing that pretty damn cool behind-the-scenes video of the filming going on in Austria with our first look of Daniel Craig as Bond for Spectre, we now get a look at some of the bigger members of the supporting cast.

Below you can see Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Léa Seydoux who plays Dr. Madaleine Swann, and Monica Bellucci who plays Lucia Sciarra. As well as an on set image of what looks to be a big car stunt with some very, very expensive cars – including Bond’s limited edition Aston Martin DB10 (just ten in the world) and a Jaguar C-X75:

Here’s a look at Empire Magazine’s April issue cover, which features Daniel Craig as Bond on the cover. Once the issue is released next month, we should have a bunch more on the movie, hopefully it’ll feature some good interviews with director Sam Mendes and some of the stars of Spectre:

Everything that was released above is all cool and dandy, but the best thing released is by far the video that takes us on set Spectre while director Same Mendes talks about why he decided to come back, the approach he’s taking this time around, and giving us some good story details.

I for one am excited as all hell for Spectre. I was floored by what Skyfall was able to do, bringing a darker and grittier feel to the world of Bond. It truly reinvented the franchise into something more than the charismatic 007 saving the world with the side of ‘Bond girls’. Don’t get me wrong, I love that part of the character and these stories, but I can’t wait to get back to that somewhat darker and grittier, while hopefully classic, feel that Spectre sounds like it’ll have.

Spectre has a November 6th, 2015 release date. Directed by Sam Mendes starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Winshaw, Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and Rory Kinnear.
