First Look: Daniel Craig as 007 in 'Spectre'

One of the most anticipated movies of 2015 is without a doubt twenty-fourth entry into the James Bond franchise, titled Spectre. Just the fact that it’s the twenty-fourth movie into the franchise is huge, but even bigger is that Daniel Craig is back as 007 and Sam Mendes is back in the directors chair after his amazing work on SkyfallSpectre is currently shooting all over the world, and now we have our first official look at Craig as Bond and a behind-the-scenes look of the Spectre set in Austria.

Here’s a synopsis:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

Followed by the behind-the-scenes look:

Small look, but pretty good so far, right? Just from the comments it sound like they are definitely trying to up the ante and intensity from the last one, something that will go up against Skyfall (and hopefully top it). I love seeing Craig as Bond, he’s my personal favorite out of all the actors who have played the character. I also love seeing Mendes back in the chair, as he put a really cool take on the character, not to mention that the cast is top notch.

I’m enjoying hearing and seeing the more classic approach to Spectre so far, bringing in the SPECTRE aspect and trying to create more iconic villains and character to surround Bond with is really cool. November can’t get hear any quicker at this point.

Spectre has a release date of November 6th, 2015. Directed by Sam Mendes starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Winshaw, Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, and Monica Bellucci.
