The Next 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Is Said to Include the Original Trilogy Characters

Following the release of the first official teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the immediate reaction was ‘I want more! When’s the next one?!’ So then came the rumor/report/speculation (whatever you want to call it) that the next trailer for The Force Awakens would come with Disney’s first big release of 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron – which makes complete sense. That is being released May 1st, 2015 and now some news may confirm that that could very well be the case.

With the second trailer, it’s more than likely that we’ll get a much better glimpse into what we’ll get with The Force Awakens. And while we can speculate speculate and speculate what the second trailer may be like, new sources claim that the trailer will include our first look (again) at Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew in their roles of Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher & Mark Hamill

It’s believed that the first teaser was put together to satisfy fans, even though most of the effects for The Force Awakens weren’t finished at the time, which would explain why their were no scenes in outer space.

Hopefully the new trailer, when it comes, won’t give to much away, but still be able to drop hints and build the anticipation just as the first one did. Things like character dialogue, more looks at the new characters, and how those new characters become connected to or accompany the OT characters.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens a week earlier in Australia and Europe, so don’t be surprised if the trailer is actually online before AU hits theaters. Especially since Star Wars Celebration takes place in the middle of April in Anaheim. I’ll have it here as soon as it’s up! Until then, just watch the first teaser another few hundred times.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming to a galaxy near you December 18th, 2015. Directed by J.J. Abrams starring the originals Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Kenny Baker, and Anthony Daniels alongside newcomers Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow.
