First Look: The Cast of the 'Now You See Me' Sequel

Whether or not you disliked, liked, or loved Now You See Me – it’s hard to not admit that it created a pretty cool and interesting world, one that can easily be jumped back into. For those of you who didn’t know, a sequel is coming next year, officially titled Now You See Me: The Second Act. Unfortunately two big names from the original aren’t coming back, but luckily they are replaced by some really good additions – here’s the first look.

Isla Fisher, who played Henley, and Morgan Freeman, who played Thaddeus, aren’t returning. Freeman was the obvious no-go following the ending of the original, but Fisher is the one that left myself and many others bummed out a bit. I really, really enjoyed her in the first one, she was one of the highlights for sure. But luckily the names that were added to the sequel have minimized by ‘bummed out’ -ness a little bit. Lizzy Caplan (The Interview) and Daniel Radcliffe (What If) have both joined the project.

Although the loss of Isla Fisher back stoinks, the cast of the sequel is solid. Many of those from the original are returning as you can see, and with the additions made, it should make for a very fun and entertaining movie. Hopefully the sequel will be able to build off of the first while still keeping those really fun character moments.

Now You See Me: The Second Act has a June 10th, 2016. Directed by Jon M. Chu starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Radcliffe, and Michael Caine.
