The Age of Ultron Is Here with the New 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Trailer!

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' BannerDuring last week’s first weekend of the College Football Playoff, movie fans were happily surprised by that sneaky little ad Marvel plopped in during the games regarding a brand new trailer for that little movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. The premiere was set for the National Title Game, and today is the day many have been looking forward to all week. Enough talking about it, let’s just get into the awesomeness that is Age of Ultron!

Official synopsis:

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Complete nerdgasm people! Even though I would’ve loved to see this new trailer take a lighter approach, I freaking loved it. It brought even more creepiness and heartache that the first introduced us to. Only confirming that Joss Whedon and company have in fact taken a much more darker tone and feel to the highly anticipated sequel. The trailer focus seems to be how Ultron is controlling our heroes, eventually with them turning against one another. Now, that is much more fearful than them team up against a villain.

I thought my excitement couldn’t be any more after the first trailer, but now it’s through the roof. Age of Ultron is the most looked forward to movie in my entire life to this point, I still have goosebumps. One more thing, what’s up with Hulk?!

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on May 1st, 2015. Directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgard, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson.
