Marvel’s next solo outing Ant-Man is hot right now. In the last week, we’ve gotten two short teaser trailers and the announcement of the full trailer, which airs tonight! Now that today is the day we get to see the first full-length trailer for one of Marvel’s more obscure characters, Marvel has taken the opportunity to reveal a first official teaser poster for Ant-Man and our very first look at star Paul Rudd in the suit, check it out!

Let’s just get right into it, here is Paul Rudd on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly in our first real look in the Ant-Man suit, via magnifying glass!

'Ant-Man' Entertainment Weekly Cover

When they first casted Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, I was extremely hesitant. I love Rudd and his movies, but as a superhero? I wasn’t really buying it. But with each thing that hits the web, I am buying Rudd more and more in this role. And today, I am one hundred percent in on Rudd being a future center piece in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. He looks awesome in the suit and looks to be completely embracing this role. This movie and character may seem odd for a superhero, but the character rocks and it’s Marvel. Even with the problems it has had, Ant-Man is a movie I’m extremely looking forward to.

On top of the image below, Marvel released the first official teaser poster for Ant-Man, which really embraces the name.

'Ant-Man' Teaser Poster

Im my opinion, Marvel is completely killing the marketing for Ant-Man. First with the teaser trailer being ‘ant-sized’ then to ‘human-sized’, and now these two images. I am absolutely loving the fun and creativity that Marvel is using to market this film. Marvel knows that everyone thinks this movie just sounds wacky, and they are using that to their advantage in a great way – really getting fans to get excited for this movie.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man will hit theaters July 17th, 2015. Directed by Peyton Reed starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglass, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, Jordi Mollá, Haley Atwell, and John Slattery.
