Chris Pratt is by far the biggest actor in Hollywood right now. He starred in two huge movies last year in The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, has Jurassic World out next summer, and is rumored for two huge projects in The Magnificent Seven and Cowboy Ninja Vinking – oh and he has his continuation of Peter Quill for Marvel. So yeah, the guy is freaking popular. The Director of Jurassic World, Colin Trevorrow, just released one of the coolest and most badass images for the movie of the world of dino’s, check it out!
I was in the group of fans that absolutely loved the first trailer for Jurassic World, there were so many awesome moment and concepts while also having that magical Jurassic Park feel to it. Just from one trailer, it looks like Trevorrow and co. have done a great job of adding a new, fresh, and present day feel to a movie that’s trying to bring the magic back. In all those cool moments, the coolest of them all was by far that closing shot of Christ Pratt’s character Owen riding his motorcycle alongside a pack of Velociraptors. The entire scene was so insanely batshit crazy that fans just couldn’t decide what to think about it.
To add to all the buzz, Director Colin Trevorrow tweeted out the following image (with one awesome caption) of Pratt standing alongside his partner in crime, Mr. Raptor!
Quite honestly, I’ve been excited for this one from the beginning. But from each move it made with the Director and cast, to the trailer, it has sped up my 2015 list quicker than anything – not to mention that that final shot in the trailer and the image above get me so pumped up. Jurassic Park was one of the first live-action movies I ever saw, so it definitely holds a special place with me. Following the just good The Lost World and just okay Jurassic Park III, I’m hoping this new take on the park can bring that Dinosaur magic back to the big screen.
Jurassic World will open June 12th, 2015. Directed by Colin Trevorrow starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Lauren Lapkus, Katie McGrath, Brian Tee, and BD Wong.
