Usually, when you see a movie featuring Jonah Hill and James Franco, you’d expect a raunchy comedy. But this time around, they are teaming up for a drama based on actual events that center around journalist Michael Finkel and Christian Longo, a murderer on the FBI’s Most Wanted List – here’s the first images for True Story. 

Christian Longo, who was one of FBI’s Most Wanted for murder, lived outside the U.S. for years under journalist Michael Finkel’s name – this movie will center around their relationship.

Here’s the official synopsis:

When disgraced New York Times reporter Michael Finkel meets accused killer Christian Longo — who has taken on Finkel’s identity — his investigation morphs into an unforgettable game of cat and mouse. Based on actual events, Finkel’s relentless pursuit of Longo’s true story encompasses murder, love, deceit, and redemption.
