The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is now just a little over two weeks away, which means the marketing for the final chapter has been well underway and will continue to be until its release. In the latest push we get three official new clips and a full batch of b-roll footage, just scratching the surface of what The Battle of the Five Armies will bring.
Early reviews on the movie have it around the same number as its predecessor, but with many critics calling it the best in the trilogy, and even some saying it finally brings back the magical feeling that The Lord of the Rings had. That’s a great sign to those who haven’t been loving the first two as much as TLOTR, like myself.
If you want to hold all the surprises for the theater, like I’m doing, I wold recommend not watching the clips. But I’m sure any clips released won’t feature anything that will ruin the movie for fans, check them out.
As well as the two sets of b-roll footage:
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opens on December 17th, 2014. Directed by Peter Jackson starring Martin Freeman, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom, Lee Pace, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Manu Bennett, Hugo Weaving, Christopher Lee, and Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of Smaug.
