More Looks at Bradley Cooper in 'American Sniper'

Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper is by far one of the handful of movies that everyone is looking forward to to finish out 2014. War movies are always seat grabbers, especially with one with this kind of story. I know I’m personally extremely looking forward to it. With so many movies out Christmas day, this might be the one I go to first. Two new images were released, focusing on Bradley Cooper who’s bringing Chris Kyle’s story to the screen.

Just from these images you can tell how much weight and time Bradley Cooper put into this role. He has said that he put on a whopping 60 pounds to fit the role. It’s also good to mention that besides Director Clint Eastwood, Cooper had a major hand in brining this project to life. This story is absolutely fascinating, I can’t wait to see it.

Official synopsis:

U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle is sent to Iraq with only one mission: to protect his brothers-in-arms. His pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield and, as stories of his courageous exploits spread, he earns the nickname “Legend.” However, his reputation is also growing behind enemy lines, putting a price on his head and making him a prime target of insurgents. He is also facing a different kind of battle on the home front: striving to be a good husband and father from halfway around the world. Despite the danger, as well as the toll on his family at home, Chris serves through four harrowing tours of duty in Iraq, personifying the SEAL creed to “leave no man behind.” But upon returning to his wife and kids, Chris finds that it is the war he can’t leave behind.

No matter what the critics say, there’s no doubt this movie should be one emotional, shocking, and exciting story to see.

American Sniper opens on December 25th, 2014. Directed by Clint Eastwood starring Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Jake McDorman, Kyle Gallner, Luke Grimes, Sam Jaeger, Keir O’Donnell, and Brian Hallisay.
