New 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Extended Trailer Drops with New Footage!

Who saw this coming? Christmas came early! We’ve gotten the first full length trailer, two clips, and two behind the scenes featurettes on Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron in the past couple weeks – we didn’t expect anything else for quite sometime. But once again Marvel Studios is a step ahead and surprises us (thank god) with an extended trailer with some new footage for the team-up sequel, get tangled in the strings of nerdgasm below!

Official synopsis:

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Like I said, nergasm! HOLY. CRAP. There is definitely a lot of stuff we’ve seen from the past trailer, but who are we kidding? Nobody can get tired of it! But the new footage?! Oh damn it’s awesome! And Ultron looks like possibility of being one of the best comic book villains, ever – most definitely the best one we’ve seen Heath Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight. I can’t wait to see this freaking movie and all its glory. The Avengers sure as hell have their toughest test coming this spring with a special kind of villain who was built to be an Avenger… It’s on!

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on May 1st, 2015. Directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, James Spader, Don Cheadle, Anthony Mackie (Rumored), Haley Atwell (rumored), Josh Brolin (rumored), and Thomas Kretschmann.
