This week in theaters we will see the release of David Fincher’s ‘Gone Girl’ starring Ben Affleck as well as ‘The Conjuring’ spin-off film ‘Annabelle’.

Gone Girl– Directed by David Fincher, Starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tyler Perry.

There’s not much to say here other than you can expect this movie to be amazing.  It has an iconic director in Fincher and a much improved lead in Ben Affleck. Look for it to get some Oscar attention in the next couple months.

Annabelle– Directed by John Leonetti, Starring Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton.

If you liked ‘The Conjuring’ and you are a horror fan then you should most definitely check this movie out.  I don’t think it will be as good as ‘The Conjuring’ but it should make for some good scares.

There you have it, the two major releases of the week.  Whether you’re ready for a mind twisting film like ‘Gone Girl’ or you just want to be scared by a creepy doll then you should find some good choices at the theaters this weekend.  Let us know what you saw and if you liked it or not!
