Below is what will likely be the final trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Personally, I have seen enough to be absolutely psyched for this space adventure, but watching it with the sound off still offered the chance to explore space with McConaughey, Hathaway, and the others. Not just that, but with the new trailer came an IMAX announcement with the types of film used and a change of release date for IMAX theaters.
Official synopsis:
With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and undertake the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.
This new trailer offers up full length trailer full of brand new footage, mainly in space and what this group of explorers will be exploring. Honestly, Nolan has always been an incredible filmmaker, but it looks like he may have just made a movie that will go down as one of the greats. It hasn’t even come out yet and the buzz is tremendous.
Like I said above, an IMAX announcement was made along with the trailer. Nolan has always made sure to give audiences the best experience possible, always shooting in IMAX cameras specifically set for the big screen. That’s no different for Interstellar, as it was shot In 70mm IMAX film, 70mm film and 35mm film.
On top of that, it was also confirmed that the movie will be released 2 days early in IMAX on November 5th, 2014. For someone who has been waiting an extreme amount of time for this movie, this is great freaking news. It’s not only saying that Nolan and his team want the fans to see it as soon as possible, but the studio must be extremely pleased with it if they are allowing an early release date. Like I said, this is great freaking news!
