This past weekend at Comic Con, DC seemed to have won the weekend with their two big releases. One was the official unveil of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. The second and biggest was a small teaser trailer for Batman V Superman, spotlighting (no pun intended) Bats and Supes staring at each other in the rain both with glowing eyes – oh freaking yeah.

Now unfortunately the actual leaked teaser trailer has been taken down everywhere before I could grab it. Although it was taken down, that’s okay because I have no doubt it will be out officially sometime soon and some great images of the trailer have been leaked online to give some great fabulous insight of what went down in Hall H.

Now you can pretty much see and imagine what the trailer showed and what is about to go down. If you don’t or you want get an exact description, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Thanks to Screen Rant, here is a very good detailed description of the teaser:

“The Batman V Superman teaser footage shown at the event began with Affleck’s Caped Crusader standing atop a Gotham rooftop on a rainy night; his eyes then light up solid white, before he removes a tarp and reveals the Batsignal underneath. Following that, the camera track up towards the sky, revealing Cavill’s Superman hovering in the spotlight; he looks extremely angry, as his eyes light up red, preparing to fire his heat vision. Cue the film’s official logo.

As such, we can now confirm that Batman has multiple costumes in the movie, as the armor he was wearing in the Batman V Supermanteaser was the full Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns-inspired outfit (read: much heavier-looking and thicker armor than in the image that had been previously released by Snyder).”

Two things – doesn’t Ben Affleck looks completely badass as Batman and his armored suit to take on Supes just that much better? Holy crap. Second, I highly recommend those who want to see this to watch Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. Yes it’s animated but it’s more than just that, it’s flat-out amazing. Zack Snyder has taken a lot of things from that very story and put them into this movie (hens Batman’s armored suit to take on Superman). It will only get you that much more excited to watch this movie, because if all is true, we should see an incredibly epic battle like the one in that story, if not better.
