With Warner Bros./DC panel earlier this morning, we expecting to see at least something from Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman. On top of the short footage the audience was given the privilege to watch, Snyder brought along the triple threat of DC’s juggernauts with him. 

Not only did Zack Snyder bring extra screens with him as well as raw footage for BVS, but he dropped new posters of Superman and Batman, right before he debuted Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman right in the middle of them. Below you can see a fan photo taken of the 3 heroes together.

Here is a HD image of Gal Gadot released to give out first real look at the characters look. Alongside it is a re-saturated version of it to give some insight of what the colors might actually look like in the light of the movie.

I’ll admit it, I don’t know how I feel about it. I mean, it turned out better than I thought and Gadot actually looks good in the role compared to what I thought (have to wait how it looks in the movie though). There are just some aspects that bug me a bit. Now the costume does fit the Wonder Woman build. It has the battle-tiara, bullet deflecting bracers, and her braided lasso that it on her hip (don’t know if we will see its magical powers like the comics though). But there are two things that I truly can’t stand.

Although the costume fits the tone and feel that Zack Snyder has done (Superman suit in Man of Steel) and will be doing for BVS, where are the colors? It’s grounded and more modernized, yes. But isn’t Wonder Woman always have some red, yellow, and blue in there instead of a bronzy type glaze color? I don’t know, I might just be nitpicking but I hope it at least has some color to it. The last thing is the biggest for me, she looks like a go-go girl. Those knee high stripper boots/wedges that she is wearing isn’t doing it for me. An Amazonian Princess who is going into battle wouldn’t be wearing those, at least I don’t thick she would. I get it, it’s a modern take and all that – but come on, go-go boots with soccer shin pads? Once again, I hope it looks good in the movie.
