A brand new image has been revealed at the San Diego Comic Con for the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The image comes as a celebration for the 75th anniversary of the Batman character and shows an up close shot of Ben Affleck in the Batsuit. As DC Comic fans eagerly wait for Saturday’s Warner Bros. panel in hopes to see some BvS footage, this image should suffice for now. Check out Affleck as The Dark Knight below.

I know what you’re thinking, Why so sad Batman? But I don’t think his facial expression is particularly that. Now, I’m no art critic, but what I see a weary, seasoned, battle tested Batman. One who is facing something he’s never faced before and knows what he has to do. Of course I’m talking about him confronting Superman here. This image perfectly fits what Snyder and Co. are trying to do with this character. Once again I’ll state that I think Ben Affleck will surprise us all with his take as the Caped Crusader. I’m with you in hoping that we see some footage of Batman in action come Saturday at Comic Con.
