First Images & Poster for 'The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies'

This December see’s the finale to Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit series. It will also mark the final movie of the entire Middle Earth universe from Peter Jackson. We have yet to see really anything on the movie besides a name change, but with Comic-Con literally around the corner, that was bound to change. The first poster and two new images for Comic-Con have been released, perhaps getting you ready for it’s first trailer this weekend.

Synopsis:

The Company of Thorin has reached Smaug’s lair; but can Bilbo and the Dwarves reclaim Erebor and the treasure? And, if so, can they hold on to it?

Almost everyone has read the books, so they know what’s coming. For us who haven’t the first poster gives us a solid idea of what this movie will be about – on top of the cliffhanger ending of the previous movies. Here’s the first images with Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, and Ian McKellen.
