Besides our very first look at Ben Affleck as Batman, we have heard very little on Batman V Superman. Rumors swirling about more JL members, villains, and how the story will play out- but nothing is officially confirmed at this point. We can add an ‘official’ part to that least, although it isn’t much it is still something. 

In Man of Steel, we saw Henry Cavill (in my opinion the best fitted Supes yet) dawn a much more darker, grounded, and alien material suit that Superman has in the past. Instead of a more vibrant blue, Zack Syder went with a more navy-ish blue (which I love much more), a bigger and more detailed S on his chest, and a type of suit material that is from the world of Krypton. There was hardly any yellow (this time gold) like we saw in the past and instead of it just being solid colors, Snyder added markings throughout the suit that payed homage to Supes home world. In my opinion, it’s the best looking Superman suit yet, although I think the cape is a little bit to long this time.

We now have our first look (via concept art) at Cavill and what his Superman will look like in Dawn of Justice. It isn’t much because it is just concept art, but this is what they will be going off of. To me, it look almost identical to the one in Man of Steel. The only difference is that he seems to be more ripped than ever and reaping that classic haircut that Superman does so well. I wasn’t praying on my hands and knees that Synder would almost replicate Superman’s costume from the new 52 series, he has taken parts from it but not the full set-up like I was hoping for. In DC’s first movie of their own universe, we only saw about 30 seconds of the Clark Kent. We do expect and should be seeing a lot more of him in the near future with the next movie, we all hope so! Again, although it isn’t much we have our first glimpse at what Clark Kent will be looking like in the next installment. Cavill is posing for a charity holding up a t-shirt, but instead of being himself he is in the role of Mr. Kent, but without the glasses unfortunately. It’s not much to go off of, but Snyder is bringing the exact look of the Daily Planet Clark Kent we all wanted. Hopefully the glasses bring that look full circle for all of us and hopefully we will see much more of Cavill, Affleck, Gadot, and every other cast member in their specific roles very, very soon.
