Production on “Fast & Furious 7” nears end of the road

The production on “Fast & Furious 7” is something I been following from the beginning. Whether it was updates on the social media pages of the film’s stars, mostly “Vin Diesel“, or major movie sites reporting. Film fans have been spoiled with set photos featuring our favorite stars and some photos with the most heartfelt captions. “Fast & Furious 7” was originally due out this summer, but tragedy struck as Franchise star Paul Walker died late last year. Since production started up again a few months ago, we have gotten photos of the cast coming together promising to deliver the best film. Some of those photos included Walker’s brothers Cody and Caleb, who will be stepping in to help complete their brother’s unfinished scenes.

Rock & Jaa

Yesterday, production finished for two stars of the film, “Dwayne Johnson” and newcomer “Tony Jaa“. It’s been a hell of a ride for the cast and crew as they begin to slowly finish. When a guy like “Dwayne Johnson” exits, he doesn’t just up and leave. The man exits in Rock style, with class. Posing in a picture posted on his instagram account with the production crew.

Johnson wrote: “My last day of [‘Fast & Furious 7.’] I’m truly touched by the farewell love my film crew has shown me. Its been an honor to work with such an incredibly hard working and brilliant crew. They may not be household names, but they’ll ALWAYS be stars in my book. With great love and respect to all of you… see ya down the yellow brick road. Another place. Another time. #ThankUForAllYourWork”

Director James Wan also took to his twitter account posting a pictures of him with Johnson and with Jaa. As both stars had wrapped up shooting their scenes for “Fast & Furious 7”.

James Wan wrote: Picture-wrap on @TheRock! One of the best peeps I’ve ever worked with. Laughter & professionalism! Let’s do it again!

James Wan wrote: And that’s a wrap on Tony Jaa at 5am. The most badass cat ever. Who also happens to be the sweetest human being.

No doubt the production on “Fast & Furious 7” has been a long and trying time for everyone involved, including Director “James Wan”. As a newcomer to the franchise, Wan was given the keys to guide this successful franchise towards three more installments. If anything, Director Wan has grown close to this cast and crew and if they didn’t consider him part of the “Fast & Furious Family” in the beginning, they probably do now.

“Fast & Furious 7” opens in theaters on April 10, 2015
