New 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Trailer Is Turtle Powered

Leonardo in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'A new trailer has dropped for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I posted just a little while ago that I was a little confused and disappointed in the look of turtles and that they don’t look like teenagers. I think the one thing that could erase that is if they truly acted like them, well we see their young awesomeness in this new trailer.

Official synopsis: Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder (William Fichtner) and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil(Megan Fox) and her cameraman Vernon Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

I’m 100% in. This is exactly the kind of Ninja Turtles that we have been wanting. Yeah, critics may end up hating it for reasons unknown, but there is no doubt in my mind that every singe person in that theater will walk out having had a tons of fun, feeling incredibly entertained by these brothers and satisfied with (hopefully) the first installment to this franchise. This trailer gives us our first look at everything put together – the turtles, splinter, human characters, villains, and the entire plot. It highlights each turtle in certain moments so we can see each of their different abilities (and voices!). I personally thought it was a fantastic looking trailer. I will definitely be sitting there on August 7th at midnight waiting to watch, but won’t be watching anymore trailers on snip-its until then because this is the highest I’ve been on this movie yet.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens on August 8th, 2014. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman and starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and William Fitchner, Abby Elliot, and Whoopi Goldberg with voices of Johnny Knoxville as Leonardo, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, and Tony Shalhoub as Splinter.
