Dracula is one of those stories that will never get old. It can be told a million different ways and is still interesting every single time. In my eyes, the story or Dracula still hasn’t been given justice in this new age of movies. Now it looks like we are finally getting his origin story with Luke Evans playing the legendary vampire. We are given our first look with a poster, banner, and image. 

We don’t have an official synopsis yet, but IMDb has this down: The origin story of the man who becomes Dracula. I for one can’t wait for it. We don’t have a trailer, but like I said before, it’s Dracula. And with the extremely cool and talented Luke Evans playing him, it’s got to be pretty entertaining and good right? Hopefully it doesn’t turn out like I, Frankenstein…

Dracula Untold is set to open on October 17th, 2014. Directed by Gary Shore starring Luke Evans, Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, and Charlie Cox.

Looks like Universal may be taking a page out of the Warner Bros. playbook and using the Batman Begins treatment. Rightfully so!
