Ever since Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the world has been waiting very eagerly for a sequel and to see how the franchise will be shaped. And ever since the premiere of the first trailer, the excitement bar has been raised each moment some new poster, photo, TV spot or trailer has been released – and the timing has been spot on. Now, we get the viral video portion of promo and it’s pretty damn awesome. 

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is set eight years after what happened in Rise. Before now, we didn’t know anything of what happened during that period besides the words, ‘We spent four years fighting the virus, and four years fighting each other.’ But now we get a viral video that shows news clips, video reels, and much more explanation of how exactly we get to where we will be in Dawn this summer. Oh and the last five seconds or so may be my favorite and most exhilarating moment of all the promos. Check it out!
