Ever since hearing that Michael Bay was going to continue the Transformers franchise, but it would be a reboot/sequel, everyone in the movie world became extremely skeptical. I to was one of those, but piece by piece as more information came out about this new movie, I began to like it more and more.
One, Mark Wahlberg is now in the human lead with some incredible young and old talent backing him up. Next, one of the most devastating villains in the Transformers history is being brought to the screen to terrorize this universe. And lastly, only one word is needed, DINOBOTS!
Being a huge Transformers junky, I was disappointed with some things Bay did with the originals even thought I liked them. But now, everything looks to be falling into place to start this new trilogy off. And even though I think there have been way to many trailers and TV spots and campaigning, each time I watch I get more excited to see it because it does look amazing. But with my excitement my hope rises and we all know how hope can de dashed in a movie theaters. Hopefully this new entry doesn’t do that and hopefully it will take the Transformers franchise to where it should have been all along. Check out some new clips from the movie below and just gaze at the awesomeness that awaits.
Transformers: Age of Extinction opens on June 27th, 2014. Directed by Michael Bay while starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, and Kelsey Grammer.
